Job Description

·         Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work ·         Screen and redirect telephone calls, and dealing with incoming faxes and email, often corresponding on behalf of the Branch Manager ·         Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution ·         Ensuring effective diary management to ensure that priorities are met and conflicts avoided ·         Ensuring that the Manager has appropriate briefing papers, reports, presentations and agenda papers for all meetings ·         Attend meetings and compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings ·         Carrying out background research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives ·         Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority ·         Set up and oversee administrative policies and procedures for offices and/or organizations ·         Review operating practices and procedures in order to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures ·         Monitoring progress, assessing information and drawing accurate and reasonable conclusions ·         Taking on some of the manager\\\'s responsibilities and working more closely with management ·         Collecting daily & weekly reports as requested ·         File and retrieve corporate documents, records, reports and contracts    ·         Performs a variety of administrative or executive support tasks that are highly confidential and sensitive.
